The Mayapuris are an eclectic group of talented musicians who share their love of the sacred culture of kirtan through their music. Blending Vedic Mantras with a contemporary twist, the Mayapuris kirtan stirs the soul like never before, and implores the audience to participate by singing and dancing along to their spellbinding rhythm.
With an entertaining and colorful presentation of live music featuring Classical Indian dances fused with modern dance techniques, as well as an upbeat Mrdunga drum presentation, the audiences become mesmerized.

This weekend we observed Martin King Luther day, MLK, a man inspired by Gandhi, in 1963 March on Washington make specific demands of civil rights, most of which have been meet today. But before him in history was a man also inspired by the non-violent movement of Gandhi, and personally worked along his side. But most of his demands have yet to be met.
A Pashtoon born with religion, poetry and music. His hard life always finds expressions in tappa. It is not only hard life, but his romance and even religion is channelized through saying or singing of tappa. Many singers have sung tappa in their own styles but when Haroon Bacha gave his voice to it, Pashto tappa touched new heights.
